On May 9,2025, the Thornapple Players were among the honored recipients of the Groos Family Fine Arts Wall of Fame for 2025 located in the Hastings Performing Arts Center. Accepting the award is l to r: Carol Svihl, long time board member and continued supporter, Norma Jean Acker, founder and head of the Players for 25 years, and Angela Seeber, current president.

On May 9, 2025, Terry Dennison also received the Groos Family Fine Arts Wall of Fame recognition for his contributions to the arts in our community. The home of Thornapple Players is named the Dennison Performing Arts Center in honor of his family. Terry is also currently a board member.
